We like to take family road trips, and a few months ago we asked the kids what they wanted to do for our next one. They all said that they wanted to drive across the states, and I suggested that we take one of the Route 66 tours. Everyone was excited about that, so we started planning right away. I found an online resource that offered ideas for points of interest, and we set out on our way. The kids had a great time seeing all the new cities and historic landmarks, and my wife and I liked the stops in Texas. It was our best vacation by far!
