I was surprised to see that my daughter’s wish list included Christmas golf gifts this year. I didn’t know that she had any interest in golf as a sport or hobby. She hummed and hawed a bit, but finally she admitted that the new boy at school is really cute and has a part time job at the golf links. He cleans the equipment and runs errands for the regular customers. I think he also does some caddy-work when needed. Anyway, my daughter is convinced that if she takes up this new activity, she will have a better chance to run into Mr. Wonderful. I’m not sure that’s a good enough reason. We’ll see.
