 I live in the metro New Jersey area, and I would love to find out about the debt collection NJ guidelines. With the overwhelming downturn in the economy, there are so many of my family members who are suffering financially.  They need advice on how to get their financial house in order.  It would be nice if there were some kind of clearinghouse where one can obtain information on the debt collection process. My sister looked through the yellow pages, but she could not find any information that was beneficial. All the agencies she found requested large up-front fees, these fees are really too high for my family members.
