Search Engine Results Pages

February 26th, 2010 . by admin

Are you familiar with SERP? SERP stands for search engine results pages. They are the listing of web pages that search engines serve up in response to a keyword or key phrase search.  The SERPs of the main three search engines involves Google, Yahoo and Bing or Microsoft. It may include many different types of listings such the organic or natural listings that are ranked by the search algorithm; the paid or sponsored listing;  and also they are including more extra’s such as maps, images, definitions and videos. They also now include suggested search keyword refinements or options. Good thing about SERP is that it serves the traffic to get it high.
