Both Of Us Out of Work Needing Insurance
March 3rd, 2010 . by adminWe’ve been paying out of the pocket for our Cobra insurance since my husband and I were both laid off from our jobs. I lost mine in January and then he followed in April. The Cobra is so expensive though, we can’t pay our mortgage, car note and Cobra every month. Now, we’re trying to find an affordable health insurance policy that will cover pre-existing conditions. You see, I have Type 2 Diabetes and while I have it under control, I do have to take 2 oral medications. The prescriptions aren’t that high, but I do have to go to the doctor for them.
